HUNTING - THE BIG DEBATE

Daar sal altyd 'n oneindige debat wees oor hierdie onderwerp.

Ek was redelik neutraal oor die onderwerp in die verlede omdat ek min daarvan geweet het of nie juis belang gestel het nie, wat onlangs verander het.

After I posted some of our hunting photo's on Facebook, I realised how many people find it revolting and inhumane to hunt; and was also called a cruel human being. In my honest opinion I don't see anything wrong with hunting...now note there is a difference between POACHING...and HUNTING...

POACHING IS ILLEGAL AND BARBARIC...HUNTING IS LEGAL AND NOT BARBARIC...

In the old days humans used to hunt for food, clothing etc. What has changed between now and then? Humans hunt animals...some animals hunt other animals...it's a case of survival.

I would like to read your opinion...but PLEASE NOTE THAT I will NOT tolerate any foul language, hate speech, racism etc. in my blog.

Monday Motivation

It is tough and tiring being positive all the time and choosing to be happy every second. There are always people who smirk...grin...criticise...gossip..thinking "she has it all"...referring to money, fame, luck, looks etc., but the only thing I have and can be certain of is unconditional love... not the love for money (we all want it, and the more we have, the more we want), but the love for all non-material things. Things we normally look past...

What is Uncoditional Love?

Harold W. Becker says it is an unlimited way of being.

We are without any limit to our thoughts and feelings in life and can create any reality we choose to focus our attention upon. There are infinite imaginative possibilities when we allow the freedom to go beyond our perceived limits. If we can dream it, we can build it. Life, through unconditional love, is a wondrous adventure that excites the very core of our being and lights our path with delight.

When one normally speaks of "LOVE", people tend to think it is the love between man and woman, but alas...there are more kinds of love...friend-friend, parent-child and so on. When someone disappoints or hurt you, do you love him/or her less? If the answer is yes (AND BE HONEST) you have embedded the "if" scenario into your mind..."If he buys me flowers, I will love him more" ..."If she earns more than me, I don't want her anymore"...etc. you get the picture...

One of the many keys to Unconditional Love is FORGIVENESS. If you cannot forgive someone, nor forget, you never loved at all. Please do not misinterpret what I am saying. I am not saying that if someone hurts you, let them walk all over you...the more you shine...the more love you will spread around.

THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS I NEED TO SAY ON THIS SUBJECT, BUT I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH ONE THOUGHT NOW...One cannot love others unless one loves oneself...LOVE IS SUCH A POWERFUL FORCE...ESPECIALLY WHEN SHARED!

It starts here...

I have so much to share and I am eager to inspire, motivate, teach, give and listen to people.

I believe if one lacks passion for life, one is blind and deaf to all life has to offer. If a person only looks straight forward and have no vision of what is going on around him/her, it can be classified as selfish...I would like each and every subscriber to please contribute to my blogs when relevant. It might not be updated every day, but at least once a week.
